These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of HonePrompt ("Service"), operated by HonePrompt ("we", "us", or "our") at honeprompt.com. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
HonePrompt is a prompt optimization tool that rewrites your rough ideas into model-specific prompts for AI tools including Midjourney, Sora, Claude, ChatGPT, ElevenLabs, Suno, and others. We provide a free tier (5 hones per month), a Starter tier ($9/month, 75 hones), and a Pro tier ($19/month, 300 hones).
HonePrompt does not generate images, video, audio, or text content directly. It only produces optimized text prompts intended for use with third-party AI platforms. You are responsible for how you use those prompts on those platforms.
You agree to use HonePrompt only for lawful purposes. You must not use the Service to:

The free tier provides 5 hones per month at no cost with no account required. This limit is enforced server-side by IP address and resets monthly.
Paid tiers are billed monthly via Stripe: Starter ($9/month, 75 hones), Pro ($19/month, 300 hones with Chrome extension and API access), and Team ($35/month, 5 seats with 1,500 shared hones). All paid subscribers receive access to all current and future supported models.
You retain ownership of the prompts you submit to HonePrompt and the optimized prompts we return to you. We do not claim any rights over your inputs or outputs.
By submitting prompts, you grant us a limited, transient license to process your input solely for the purpose of generating your optimized prompt. This license expires the moment your request is complete. We do not store, analyze, or use your prompts for any other purpose.
The HonePrompt platform, its design, branding, and underlying prompt engineering methodology are our intellectual property. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of our intellectual property to you.
The optimized prompts returned to you are yours to use freely on any AI platform for any purpose, including commercial use.
HonePrompt is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that optimized prompts will produce any specific result on any third-party AI platform, as those platforms operate independently and may change their behavior at any time.
We are not responsible for the outputs generated by third-party AI tools when you use our prompts. The quality, accuracy, safety, and legality of outputs from Midjourney, Sora, ElevenLabs, Suno, or any other platform are governed entirely by those platforms and your use of them.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HonePrompt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. If we terminate your paid subscription without cause, we will refund a prorated portion of your current billing period. You may stop using the Service at any time.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
